While you are visiting us - please follow these guidelines:
- RESPECT THE ANIMALS! The magnificent animals at KDU are wild and possess all their natural instincts. You are a guest in their home. They are sensitive and have feelings. PLEASE don't tap on glass, cross barriers, throw anything into exhibits, make excessive noise, tease or call out to them. Please report any disturbance to the wildlife to a staff member immediately.
- We feed our animals carefully balanced diets to meet special nutritional needs, so please keep them healthy by not feeding them anything. You may feed the birds in Terra Rosella and Land of Lories or you might be chosen to bottle feed in the Woolshed.
- Coins in water are very harmful to the cave and the animals that live there, so please don’t toss coins into Martha’s Pool.
- Pets can unknowingly spread diseases to our exotic animals. No dogs or other pets are allowed on KDU grounds, except service dogs with proper paper work.
- The use of tobacco products is not allowed on KDU property. Tobacco is VERY harmful to our animals.
